When my husband, Thomas, and I welcomed our first daughter, Allegra, I remember our aunties constantly remindingânaggingâus to âenjoy every moment because time goes so quickly.â
At the time, between endless feeds and sleepless nights, I didnât believe them. It felt like time couldnât crawl any slower. Allegra was so tiny in my armsâa delicate bundle of wispy hair and chubby cheeks.
But before we knew it, a decade had passed. Along the way, we welcomed our son, Joseph, and our golden retriever, Blossom. Now, both kids are in school and cheekily sass us at every opportunity.
In those quiet moments alone, Iâll pull out our picturesâfrom when Thomas and I got married to baby photos of Allegra and Josephâand find myself wishing, just for a moment, that time could crawl slower.
All this to say:
1) Your naggy (nosey) aunties are rightâŚmost of the time. Turns out, theyâre wiser than we give them credit for.
2) Life is a 24/7/365 race against time; photos and mementos are the only things that let us pause and catch our breath.
So, until I invest in some sort of magic time-stopping machine, I hope youâll cherish your moments with your favourite big and little people. If you need some gorgeous photos as backup, Iâd love to be your Perth photographer!
I'm grateful you're here.
YES PLEASE!
Letâs just say my parents, aunties, and uncles still have at least 100 too many bonbonnieres proudly displayed in glass cabinetsâ*never* to be used, let alone thrown outâŚGod forbid.
With three brothers and a huge extended family, you can imagine why Thomas and I had over 200 guests at our wedding. It was chaotic, in the best way possible.
Then, in 2020, I lost my beautiful mum to cancer. She was the kindest person you could ever meet, and I miss her every single day.
Sometimes, Iâll sit and look through our wedding photosâthereâs one of Mum fastening my laced dress, her face beaming with pride.
That photo means more to me now than it ever did back then.
Moments I can never physically relive, but ones that are brought back to life through these photos. Because the images are all I have of us. SO MANY FEELS.
Thatâs when I had my magical lightbulb momentâthe calling to become a photographer, to capture moments and memories that others will hold onto for a lifetime.

âWe booked Natasha to capture our newborn photographs of our 11 day old.
The trip to her stunning natural light studio was the first time we had left the house since bringing our little girl home. So we arrived a little anxious.
Natasha eased our anxiety immediately. She was warm, gentle and relaxed and is an absolute â baby whispererâ.
Her attention to detail and ability to capture precious moments through her camera lens were incredible and we are so over the moon happy with our beautiful photos.â

âAmazing experience. Natasha was fun, professional, fast and lovely.
It's not easy capturing 4 children and a dog but she was so great and got them all involved and comfortable.
Highly recommend đ.â
